Hi ladies!Sorry I havent posted in a bit.Ive been so busy with the girls and birthday parties and just life in general.Ya'll know that feeling.I did get some goodies this week from my prim besties Linda and Angie!What a pair of wonderful gals the lord has blessed me with,not just because of the special things they do but the friendship of these two amazing ladies!I love you gals!Lindas box came first.She sent me the cutest snowmen and a primtastic mitten!Also some candlemats and the most adorable stitched pillows which I now realize that I forgot to take pics of.I put them on the couch immediately and forgot to take the pic:)Thank you so much Linda!

Today a suprise package came from Lilraggedy Angie!What another great suprise!She sent me some of the cutest gingers and a prim stocking and some beeswax ornies.I of course found them homes immediately as well!Thank you so much sweetie!Your a doll!

Now I will show you a bit of my chaos,lol.This is a pick of only HALF of the girls that were here for the slumber birthday party for Arielle and Jasmine!My house looked as if there had been a frat party here,lol.Katie has here choir concert tonight.That should be so much fun.

Hi ladies!Ive been super busy but finally got a few minutes to shre my oldest homecoming dance with her boyfriend!They had a wonderful time!Ive also gotten some great goodies from some wonderful ladies.I got a giveaway package from angie of the cutest candy corns and some adorable lttle punpkin bells!I just love the little bells!She did a great job on her candy corn!Thanks again so much Angie!

Hi ladies!Happy sunday!Hope everyone is enjoying the lovely weather.I just love this time of year as all of you do!I look so forward to shutting off the central air and opening all the windows.The crisp air is so refreshing!

Girls first week of school and some mad madness!

What a week Ive had ladies!I was missing all of my blog buddies too!The girls had there first day back on Monday and the chaos was in full swing.And to think I couldnt wait till school started,what the heck was I thinking,lol.I get the hubs up for work at 5 and them up at 6 and start my running at 7.Take the older two to school then come back get the youngest up and ready and to school.I come home and clean and before I know it have to go back and pick up.Then cheer practice and dinner.Im putting different colors of feathers to match there outfits in there hair nightly as well.Im getting really crazy,lol.

Tuesday I wazs watching some T.v and when I came back from my first pickup the T.v. looked like it was in 3-d.What the heck!Now mind you the hubs and I have been talking about getting a flat scree for down here and eliminating the monster we have which was a 57 inch projection plus a huge surrounding entertainment system.Sooooo after calling around to a few repair places on Thurs.they pretty much said about 450 dollars to repair,well we figured we might as well just get the new one.Off to sams club and to walmart to compare pricesz we went.We decided on a 47 inch and got a new stand for it as well.It looks a hundred percent better and so much more room now.It was so much work yesterday finishing all the setup and cleaning.I cant believe all the stuff I had on the big ole stand.The bottom cupboards held at least a hundred disney vhs!We dont even have a vcr anymore but I just cant bear to part with them.Theres just so many memories of my girls and them movies.I had to do alot of organizing which is not my best quality.I swear I try,lol.So now Im waiting patiently(not really)for the hubs cousin to come get this monster boob tube outta my living room.I just didnt want to throw it out and it is sitll a good T.v. just needs a repair.The girls are pretty happy about how the livig room looks now too.Less hoarder they say,lol.Ive been working on my pennys for Linda as well.So thats about all Ive been up too this past week.Runn,run,runnin.Well not right now at least,Im maxin and relax!big hugs and have a safe wonderful Labor day!

Hi there sweet friends!Im very behind on posting my new swap goodies from Traci:(She made the cutest ghost,scarecrow and prim pears!I love them all!Thank you so much Traci!

Ive been such a busy bee today!Hubby left me a 5 on the table to go get milk and I had a bright idea to get some lysol and srub the walls.Ohhhh what a job that sure is!I put my 80's cd on and was scrubbing and singing and sweating!Stopped a few times to hit the inhaler and was back at it again!The hubs will be so pleased that I didnt lay in bed all day,lol!That is if he notices:)Cleaned my bedroom real good and got rid of some clutter.He better notice!
We usually get movies on Tuesday but nothing good came out today at all so didnt.
School starts on the 29 so Im ready for that!Got everything they need except gonna go to wally world and pick up a couple other school supplies katie needs and some makeup for the other two.Jasmine has started to wear a little bit.Just eyeliner and mascara and she does a good job,not too heavy which is just how I like it.Arielle now shes another story,lol.Ive decided myself last week to start putting on some makeup again and taking more time on myself and a little less focusing on the house,hubs and kids.I think my meds are starting to work and get me out of my "blue Lagun"phase(as my mother used to say)LOL!

Hi ladies!I wanted to show you all the fun we had yesterday!Hubby took us to a lake called Pymatuning and they had so many fish!We took three loaves of bread and the girls just loved it!Its been so nice having the hubs home since he changed shifts to twelve hours,three days on and every other sunday but he sure likes to run all the time,lol.I like to stay at home and relax or at least do some laundry:)Ive been working on a penny tree skirt for Linda.She had sent me a green wool army blanket and its looking so pretty.I just need to stitch some more snowflakes on it.I have a bunch of wonderful swap goodies to share too but still need to take some pics of those to share.I hope everyones having a wonderful day and a great weekend!big hugs michelle

Hello sweet friends!Not much goin on here today just some stitchin.Im thinking Im gonna hide out upstairs and watch some movies while I work on some swaps.Sounds like a good plan to me.The hubs had him a idea the other day to go rent some canoes and boy was it a hoot,lol.Now me Ive never been in a canoe in my life,neither has my oldest Arielle.The hubs and the other two girls have!Of course guess who I got stuck with......Arielle!We were going in circles for the loongest time.Hubs was just ahead laughing at us and me yellin the whole half mile.We finally got it figured out and managed to go two miles without tipping over.It was fun but what an experience that sure was:)My arms were killing me and when we got home everyone took a long nap.I got two boxes of goodies this week too!The first box was from Amy at Bumblebeelane cottage.She sent me a beautiful yelloware bowl with a cute towel that says pottery and some gorgeous sheep nwith some tarts.Amy has such impecable taste!I love everything!Thank you so much again Amy!The second box came yesterday from my dear friend Linda!She is always spoiling me with amazing goodies!What a blessing you are to me Linda!Linda sent me some dogbone cookie cutters with a recipe (we had talked about me wanting to make some for my doggies),a huge beautiful yelloware bowl!Some beautiful painted wooden bowls,a cute glass plate with a snowman on it,one of her baby shoe pin keeps,a sachet and some of her grubby eggs oh and some fabulous labels!Thank you again my sweet friend!Ive been working on her box of goodies and will be getting it out this week.My hubs has switched his shift from regular 8 hours to now working 12 hours on mon,tues and wed.and every other sunday so when hes home I swear I get nothing done.He wants to run and go all over the place.I like to just sit at home and do my dailies.Hes at work today so I can relax and have some me time:)I hope everyone has a wonderful week!Big hugs michelle

I took my two younger daughters and there bestie Destiny(my other part-time child :0) to the neighbors pool today.Wasnt to hot out so we stayed a bit.They had so much fun!I sat there with my puffer and camera just laughing.What it would be like to be young again and not have to worry about everything.I think there only worries are what there gonna eat next(they eat alot!)and what to wear(im always behind on the laundry)LOL!I hope everyone is having a wonderful week!Im working on some swaps and keeping the house tidy after these little messy marvins!So glad I could post some pics today!big hugs michelle

Good afternoon !I wanted to show you all my beautiful bonnets from Lecia.We did another swap and this time she also made me one of her gorgeous prairie shelf sitters.Isnt she the cutest!Lecia also suprised me with a beautiful prim hanging towel that is perfect hanging in the bathroom,it even says "grannys old fashion lye soap".Lecias bonnets add a perfect touch to my living room shelf from Carol.I just love all my blog friends!Your the best!Now on to my backyard diaster.What a mess it has been,the very back where the doggies have there play,poopin time has been flooding and the water has been standing and stinking from all the rain we had.The hubs has been trying to dig a french drain for so long now and its not looking so good.I think were gonna put a sump pump in now.Everyday the dogs play outside Ive been needing to give them baths because they have been getting so stinky from playing in that nasty water.It is looking not too bad today,just water in the ditch part!We got lots of bushes to plant on the front part of our fence on Sunday but since we spent our whole day bagging up them pesky helicopters we didnt get them planted yet.I think we seriously bagged up at least twenty some bags of helicopters by hand!Honestly it was me doing the bagging cause the girls were coming up with excuses left and right to not help,lol.We had a nice cookout yesterday but the hubs got heat exhaustion again,BIL girlfriends daugter was sick and then my oldest had a gallbladder attack.So guess how my day ended,hehe Yep at the hospital!We were there for four hours in the waiting room!All is better now ,hubs went to work but still feeling a little yucky and Arielle my oldest is gonna survive.She goes in to see another surgeon on the 13th.
Blogger is still acting funny but at least I can make a post and only having a few issues on leaving comments.Cant post pics now .its saying my server is recjected so no pics today!ugg!So please know Im reading all your beautful posts just not able to comment on some.Have a great day and drink lots of water:0).

I was so suprised last week to go outside and see this huge box and I mean It was huge!I thought to myself what the heck is that and looked and seen Linda.That little turd I thought as the tears welled in my eyes.What a sweet friend .She surely caters to my hoarder addiction,lol.I love it all so very much!She sent me two gorgeous wool blankets.The red one is a fav of hers and she would like me to make her a christmas runner.what fun that is gonna be.she sent me two plate stands which I was needing actually,funny huh,lol.Beautiful pillowcases.A wonderful bow with a tar soap label.she did such a great job on.A cute little lamp .I immediately put next to my bed.Some baby socks and bonnets for my youngest daughter Katies american girl doll( she tried to swipe the last ones Linda sent me,lol).The cutest little accent pillows.a wooden tray ,a blue birdie,a little gameboard and a wooden wall sconce.Thank you so much dear friend for the spoiling!Its gotten so cold here and the rain is not stopping.my backyard looks like a lake.hubs is gonna have to go finish the french drain real soon or buy a boat,lol.The girls are on last week of school UGGG!Ive got the youngest Katie signed up for soccer and basketball and my middle daughter Jasmine is starting cheerleading again.I swear cheerleading had just ended and boom its back!Looks like I wont have a boring summer thats for sure.but.....the oldest got her liscense now so she can be the taxi!yep sounds like a plan to me,lol.I was so scared when she first started driving on her own but shes doing pretty good and its actually coming in handy for them pepsi runs.Hope everyones having a wonderful week!Big hugs michelle

Good evening Ladies!I hope everyones had a wonderful mothers day.Mine was pretty good I must say.Yesterday we went to applebees for dinner and then to watch the new movie Thor.It was pretty amazing in 3d.Got some new candles and my mil got me a beauitful houseplant.For her today we got her some plants ,perfume and some other little goodies and spent the whole day weeding her flower bed and laying down preen fabric and mulch.So much weeds.prickers paradise I said,lol.pretty sore now relaxing a bit.Wanted to share with all of you my new swap goodies from my wonderful friends that Im so grateful to have in my life.Carol from firecrackerkid and Lecia from farmhouse prims.I absolutely love my new goodies .Thank you ladies so very much! So happy to see all my spring flowers are bloomin and have survived the long,long winter.They dont seem to last long enough for me and before I know it I will be deadheading them and all the periennials will be up.My mums are already sproutin up.gonna have to get them under control this year.They were full and wild last year but oh so pretty.I got my windows boxes that we bought outback with the seeds in and waiting to hang when they start sprouting.I put petunias and shasta daisys in those.sad to say all my seeds I started in the house (too soon)didnt make it.Just gonna have to resort back to the old way,lol.Live and learn ,I will know next year not to start them so soon.Ive been keeping busy with my swaps and have one more biggie to do.also had my oldest daughter at the hospital Tuesday .she was puking and her stomache has been bothering her.They did a ultrasound and said she has gallstones.Shes only 16!then they said they dont operate on minors for that there and I will need to take her to Akrons childrens hospital.so...next week were takin a trip to a specialist to see her and determine what they want to do.Just crazy.She finally passed her manuerbility part on her drivin test as well and has been being the family cabie.Of course I cried the first day she left without me.She laughed said get used to it Ive got to go through this two more times.UUgg!They do just grow up too fast!Shes not only helpin my sil with hair but also now working at a grocery store.She certainly is turning out to be a wonderful kid.She had us worried there for a while,lol.Well just wanted to stop in and say Hi! Im so sorry Ive been neglecting my blog.Ive been so busy with swaps and helping my MIL do some spring cleaning.Even ripped up some of her carpet and tile last week too.My first new treasure is my fav!Its a rolling pin rack from Carol at Firecrackerkid.I absolutely love it!Im starting to adore mustards,ever since I got the beautiful bonnet from Lecia at Farmhouse prims.Im decorating to coordinate with the bonnet,lol.Im just in prim heaven with this pin cubby.Its so perfect!My Mil took me shopping last week and all my hard work defienately paid off.She got me a new prim doll,some towels,two new crocks,and a little cubby cabinet.Im starting to think I may need a bigger house.The hubby suprised me last week with a Billy Jacobs painting!Its so beautiful!Lovin It all so much!The weather has been so beautiful here in Ohio the last couple of days.My flowers are starting to bloom.I was so worried about my tulips but they look like there gonna be just fine.I hope everyone is having the same beautiful weather.Im so grateful for all my blog besties!blessings and hugs Michelle

Im so happy about this beauty as well.Ive been droolin over the stoveboard Jan at the primitive outhouse had and asked Carol if she would wanna swap.I was so excited she said yes.Im so in love with this.I couldnt wait to put my shoofly from Carmen and look at the beautiful pillow that Carol made.So stinkin cute!I made her three rugs but heck I would have made her ten if she wanted,lol.Such perfect craftsmanship!Gave my old rickety one to my neighbor across the street,however made her run with it so the neighbor beside me that made it didnt see .I just wouldnt be able to bear hurtin his feelings.Ive been so busy this week helping my mil spring clean.Shes taking me shopping after were done tommorow so its gonna be a great day.I wish everyone a great weekend!blessings michelle

Yesterday was such a nice day!we had planned on flying kites last weekend but decided it was too cold.The two youngest had a blast.they had there friend join us since the oldest was "too cool"to participate in the fun.her loss,lol.Daddy had to educate them all on the kite flying process.Here they are with them before we put them together....

Old man winter has struck here again so I sat in suspense all day for my goodies.Was so worth the wait!I did a swap with carmen from Primcats for one of her shooflys that I had been wanting for,well quite a while.I asked her if she wanted to swap.I was so glad when she said yes and so glad she did,just look at all these goodies.We dont have goodies this good out here.no prim stores at all.Im a huge candle freakazoid and she sent me the yummest vanilla grapefruit soy jar candle.Its now lit and ready to be enjoyed.A pack of 4 votives in vannial pudding that are package so cute I dont even want to open them.......well at least not for a while ,hehe.The cutest tin votive holder too and a candle mat to go with.she simply thought of everything.what a gal!Two of the cutest sheep ,ones a bowl and the other a plate!I love sheep!A prim beautiful frame that says "your my angel"gonna have to stick a pic of my furbaby Guardian in there since its so fitting NOT,however as rotten as he may be his full name on his papers is Midnight Guardian Angel.Just a perfect frame.A super cute basket!I just love these kind of baskets and the black color with the red gingham goes perfect with everything .Last but certainly not least the item that started it all my glorious shoofly.I love It!the color is just beautiful!cant wait to display all these treasures.Thank you so much Carmen!Im having so much fun doing swaps and getting spoiled left and right!have a great weekend ladies!I will be here on the couch making another penny rug and enjoying the yummy candle.blessings michelle

New Treasures and gardening

What a day already!I got a box of the most precious goodies from Linda!What a sweetie pie!I let her know in a comment how much I adored her stitchery and she of course was delighted to make me one.I absolutely love it!she even put "her daughters"since I have three.Just perfect!I will cherish this heirloom forever,or till the day I croak.lol then it will become one of the girls,probally not the middle since Im such a big ole fat hoarder lol.I had gotten a board for the hubby to make a peg rack(he didnt move fast enough for me)so the neighbor did it for me.I love it hanging with all the goodies from Linda.She sent me the cutest ditty bags that you see in the pics hanging throughout the kitchen and dining room.The cute little britches and socks,oh I just love em.Katie tried to claim them all even them shoes for her american girl doll,shes quackers.no way!She also sent me a couple of magazines and 2 beautiful red baskets and one had some adorable candle tins.What a good friend.cant wait till she gets the box of goodies I sent her.now onto the gardening part of this post,Ive got seedlings growing like crazy,So excited!some in the window in the kitchen and 5 flats downstairs in the living room window.Hubby got me a super cute gardening bag at sams club.the window baskets and big coffee cup planters at walmart.we got a big box of the hollyhocks to plant,hopefully soon at sams club.I love my peg rack,I did have to take evrything out of the china cabinet and move it to the other wall.well worth it,I hadnt move that monster since we moved in,so glad I did.It looks great in here,cant wait for the hubby to get home and see.I had ordered a couple bunnies off of Brenda and look how cute they are,one in the basket in the crock and the other on my shelf.See the cute bunny hanging?I made it!oldest daughter says "it looks sinster"lol.I love her! My beautiful mother in law in her foxy white coat.there is also pics of myself ,hubby and all my beautiful daughters.we had a very good day today with my mil and some of her dearest friends.we all went to damons for it.yummy food.was a good day for me as well since all her kids pitched in and got her an ipad so she can play her crazybirds game that she loves so much and I even reaped the benefits.I got her laptop that is actually the same as mine with the screen intact.what a good deal for me.i had given up on using mine that i had to hook to the tv and started to use the kids.theres are small dell netbooks though and i really was missing a bigger screen.so much for the green today ,its snowing again!ugg!i was getting so excited just seeing all the bulbs pokin there green heads up.oh well it it be here soon. the girls had a good day as well.My oldest has to wear glasses now.She looks really cute.Her uncle told her she was a total geek chic braces and glasses now.lol.tommorow the middle daughter jasmine finally gets them bottom braces on.seems like it just was taking forever and she said to me the other day when are they coming off,ha she still has quite a while to go.Im gonna do a giveaway soon too!hubby said you have a 100 now ,and that is when i should do one.Im gonna figure some stuff out this week.hope everyone has a great week.no snow!blessings michelle

Wow what crazy weather this is.I sure hope everyone is safe.The ice last night,oh goodness.I have never in my 36 years seen anything like it.I was so scared for the hubby to have to drive his hour drive to work.thank goodness he made it safe and sound.I have to say that Im so glad to have started to blog,now Im gonna get a little personal here lol.I relly dont have many people in my life.My husband,mil,children,a sister in law and a brother that I barely talk too.The women that I have met on here are so special and make me feel special.My hubby just laughs at me as I tell him stories like looking through the country samplers and seeing some of sandys work and saying how talented she is and that shes battling cancer and that I wonder how shes feeling today,or that carol makes the most amazing furniture Ive ever seen and she lives so close to his gramps.And Linda dear Linda you are the sweetest ladie!I just dont know anybody that would just for no reason at all but a BIG heart send someone so many precious gifts.Carmen you made me some of the yummiest candles Ive ever smelled and threw in them extra goodies,just because.I could just go on and on Patti,Gina ,Angie,Brenda ,and so on and so on.So many blessings the lord has given me .Thank you all so much for making me feel loved and a somebody.Now on to the eyecandy!!!!!!!!!!to make a long story short Linda had posted on one of many of her fab bargain finds of a matchstick box.I never see any of these prim beauties out here and mention that.well months later she posted that she would love to do a makeover of one for the gal that said that.LUCKY ME!She sent me a gorgeous redo in the prettiest red with some cute spoons to boot.but thats not it three cute pillows ,soy wax melts ,a angle pin,rusty bellsnapkin wraps,a pewter candle holder with the grubby candle,a pillowcase (which looks like a quilt).Just the best box of goodies that literally brought tears of joy to my eyes at each one I took out of the box.Thank you soo very much dear friend.Carmen makes the cutest candles and I had been wanting some for so very long.Now I must say the hubby doesnt just give me money.I do have and I do amit a shopping addiction.so if he does give me some its after much bribing,promising and wheelin and dealin.lol.now dont get me wrong Im very spoiled and well taken care of its just simply about whats a nessecity and what a desire.lol.We got a new car on the 15th so the budget monster has reared his ugly head a little,but just a little.so anyways I got to order some candles.I LOVE CANDLES.nothing is more relaxing to me than to sit and just smell a yummy candle burning.Carmens candles are amazing.HUGE!Prim perfect.she even put in some extra tarts and a yummy soap.Thank you Carmen!The hubby sensing my impending happiness and excitement upon the arrival of my yummy new treasures made me a table riser that Ive been begging him for yesterday.He did a amazing job.I was quite suprised.I kept thinking hes gonna lose a finger.what a man.I painted and sanded and Ive been making my first ever penny rug that Looks perfect on it.I put one of Carmens candles on it for now.sorry for such a long post.Hope everyone stays safe.blessings to all of you!hugs michelle

Good afternoon !I had lots of photos to share but it seems the camera is on the poops now.Im quite certain it was one of them little gremilns around here,lol.Perhaps the one that cracked my laptop screen about a month ago.Oh well will post those eventually .I did have some that I took last week.I finally got the downstairs decorations all down and that was the last of them.Its amazing how much I realized I had.I had a bunch of things get ruined when the downstairs had flooded.anyways I did the dining room first and as I took down the christmas ornaments I replaced them with some heart that I got on clearance at pat catans.They were christmas ornaments half of but a hearts a heart right.got some stars too and some cloth ones that I painted and coffee stained(there in the crock for now)Im gonna pretty them ones up somehow and put them on the tree too.Im trying real hard to not get so cluttered.The fam keeps calling me a hoarder so Im trying to keep it simple.My mil got me that big beautiful crock for christmas!I just love it.My little feather tree there I won from Sandy .I couldnt bear to put it away and put some little hearts on it.of course the kids were like "come on mom ,really"Well I gotta have a few things out that I enjoy,dont I.Two of my girls stayed at grandmas last night so it was pretty quiet.My oldest as you see in the photo is in her usual pose ,stuck to the side of the couch with the phone in one hand and the ipod in the other.lol.At least she was quite today.The other too fight like cats and dogs.My little one katie shes actaull y ten vowed she was gonna start to sleep in her room if we got her a bobby jack monkey comforter set for christmas.now we have heard that story before,one other no name monkey comforter ago.so I got it all pretty for her and guess what,not sleeping in there.she has graduated from my room to the downstairs with the oldest.go figure.sooner or later she will stop being such a chicken and sleep in there im sure.lol.Oh and see the sweet little sock monkey I won from crafty stitchers hanging by my crock and tree.I just love sock monkeys(maybe thats where katie gets her monkey obsession)anyways I have a pic of my big one on my bed that I got last year at walmart.Just wanted to hop on and let everyone know Im still here.broken laptop,boogered camera and all.lol.take care and stay warm blessings michelle

Ive been so busy with the girls and the holidays as Im sure everyone has been.I have been faithfully reading but not much commenting and no posting.My middle daughter had two competetions for cheering and took first!How exciting they are.Im so proud of her ,she was one of the tumblers and did her backflips like 5 times.I did also recieve my curtains I ordered off Gina from Catnapinn primitives.They are so cute.I ve been meaning to take photos and post but just keep having so much happening.But today I figured I better get off my hiney and take some pics before I get too behind.I won a giveaway from Jenn at Bittersweet Prims and I must say They are just gorgeous!Dontcha think.My first prim santa !I was so excited.she even made me a prim snowman ornament and included Two yummy candles one is peepermint scnapps and the other is sugar cookie.They smell so good!Thank you again Jenn!even my santa and snowman smelled pretty darn good.I wanted to show some of my decorating as well.we got loads of snow today.I tryed my best to stay in all day till the gang wanted me to make a mickey d,s run.One good thing for the day was my daughters basketball game was canceled so I didnt have to make that journey.Hope everyone is staying warm and driving safe.I will try not to stay away so long next time.I started baking cookies as well.so far like seven different kinds.I had to clean out my frezzer upstairs and relocate to the downstairs frezzer,because I wanted all them yummies to lay flat.blessings michelle

Good evening sweet followers.I finally got some stuff done.Im starting to feel better ,still a cough but thats the norm with asthma and copd.But at least I dont feel like Im coughin my geezards out.lol.I have been wanting a narrow tree to put up all year for so long and today I scored.Yeah Touchdown hubby gave me a ten to spend today and I went to this store that sells stuff they get at auctions and stuff.I rememberd they had one a while back so off and runnin I went.When I got there it was gone,heart crushed I said to the sweet little old lady "did you sell that tree that was outside"she said oh yes sweetie we have sold two that we had this week but I think I have another one outback in one of the storages.JACKPOT!Im happy again,It sure doesnt take too much to make me happy.She sold me my beautiful tree for ten dollars .That whole half hour drive home I was just a smilin and singin.We got some lights this morning too at Sams club.some ghosts and pumpkins.It all worked out o perfect.I made some little witch hats and candy corn for it and printed off some little vintage halloween postcards.I think I need to make a rag garland to go on it to.Im so excited just to think of all the holiday possibilities for me and my tree.Of course the kids think Im so bonkers and a major hoarder.Thats ok though Im still smilin and singin and thats all that counts. I finally got a couple crocks too and put one next to my tree with my little pumpkin man.I even made a candle hugger ,a candle mat and some caramel apples.my basement is all done too.except all my totes and such jam packed in my yougest room still.she never sleeps in there though.One day next week I swear I will get it done.my daughters room looks very good.we decided we best not put carpet down again just in case this happens again,so we did a floor epoxy and throw rugs.worked great.Hope everyone has a great weeend.blessings to you all

no pics today of anything special .last night it rained so bad that the whole street has flooded.my basement which is carpeted is ruined.one room is my oldest daughters and the other is a storage room for all my decorations.im so ready to just crawl back in bed .the insurance adjuster is coming sometime today.i keep trying to get some of the water out but it just keeps comin back.gross stinky water that has ruin so much.is there a sliver lining here?i sure hope so.....and to think i got up today and had nothing to do but walk in the morning with the hubby and i was gonna try to make some fabric pumpkins.so much for that huh lol.i defienately am pulling that carpet out .i wish i could right now but i have to wait on the insurance guy and hopefully he will understand that those holiday decorations meant the world to me.i will keep my fingers crossed.hope everyone else is havin a better day.todays kadys birthday over at stoney hill cabin ,pop over and tell her happy birthday.blessings to all and stay dry lol.

Life sure has gottn busy all of a sudden and it isnt even school shopping time uugg.busy busy,i sure feel as if i will never get a chance to just sit and relax and do some crafts(says the person sitting on the computer)lol.between two birthday parties,my youngest then my newphews yesterday evening.yesterday morning we spent most of the day moving my hubbys grandma.fun ,fun,fun.it was so hot and couldnt wait for newphews party to get in the pool.today one of my girls got her braces on,just the top today.bottoms will be in a couple weeks put on.my oldest is getting ready to have an expander placed .back to the dentist again tommorow so the oldest can have a couple fillings done.so upset today cause i was under the impression all her stuff was done and found out today it was not.hubby was not happy at all since he just paid for both there braces in full then finds out he has to dish out more money.hubby and i certainly dont have the best choppers and we r trying so hard to make sure the girls have good oral health,so its gonna be bologna and hot doggies this week lol.oh and i almost forgot i have been taking care of the neighbors dogs while there camping.a few days ago they got in a BAD dog fight.they r jack russells,i thought they were beagles but either way they are fast and fierce.they keep them seperate so i have to change them in shifts from a cage and cant let them be by each other.BIG lesson learned here.i had one bathroom while other was outside,let the one peanut back in cause it was her turn for some freedom.now usually she goes right upstairs to eat and i grab the other from bathroom.routine i have that had been working.not that day lol.picked butters up and went to take her to cage she instantly bit my finger and i of course dropped her then boom there fighting like mad heck.now i have never seen a dog fight and my first instinct was to break them apart.BAD idea.they bit the heck out of my hands.hubby was out front waiting for me cause i also did a yard sale for my mil this week (fri.and sat.)i satrted screaming for him.he finally heard me and came to my rescue.snatched the one up as i tryed to put the other in the cage.in all the chaos i didnt get it latched and that one leaped in the air and snatched the other one hubby was holding by the leg.finally got her off and in cage.i ran across the street to home with blood all over both my hands just crying.my oldest thought someone had passed away till she seen my hands.today there swollen and black and blue.the punctures are infected so i had to start antibiotics.hubby joked when i said i have three more weeks.he said boy i was in trouble since i got hit on the first week.now im scared sh**less of them little boogers so i make one the kids help me when i let them out.well just wanted to pop on and make a quick post my middle daughter is coaching cheercamp today so i have to take her at three.hope everyones having a great week and staying cool in this heat wave.blessings michelle

WHAT A WEEK WE HAD!WE WENT TO WEST VIRGINIA FOR MY HUSBANDS FAMILY REUNION.WOW WHAT A TIME WE HAD.FIRST WE WENT TO THE HOTEL IN MARIETTA TO STAY,I SAID THE WHOLE WAY"I GOTTA CHECK THEM BEDS FOR BED BUGS"GOT THERE AND ALL I FOUND WERE HAIRS ON THE SHEETS,SHOULDVE BEEN MY FIRST WARNING HUH,PLASTIC ON MATTRESSES.NO BUGS DID I SEE.NO MAID EITHER SO I CHANGED THEM DARN SHEETS MYSELF.SLEPT LIKE CRAP,BEDS WERE ROCK HARD.RISE AND SHINE TIME TO SH**,SHOWER,AND SHAVE LOL.FIRST HUBBY THEN ME.NEXT DAUGHTERS TURN AS SHES GETTING OUT OF THAT BED GUESS WHAT SHE SEES A BUG!I SQUISHED IT AND HUBBY SAYS OH THAT WAS JUST A BEETLE.BEETLE MY BUTT.I GOOGLED IT.IT WAS A BED BUG.I WAS TOTALLY FREAKING OUT!PULLED BED A WAY FROM THE WALL AND LOW AND BEHOLD BUGGIES,ABOUT FIVE.I SNATCHED ON OF THEM UP AND PUT IT IN A CUP AND FLEW DOWN TO THE DESK CLERK.THEY SAID THEY WERE AWARE OF THE BUG ISSUE.TOOK ABOUT TWO HOURS TO GET MONEY REFUNDED FROM TRAVELOCITY AND BOOKED ELSEWHERE.WHERE WAS THIS FAB ESTABLISHMENT ,SUPER EIGHT.YUK WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN.HAD TO CHECK ALL OUR STUFF TO MAKE SURE WE WERENT BRINGIN ANY FRIENDS HOME.NEXT DAY WE STAYED AT A MICROTELL ,IT WAS SO NICE AND CLEAN THANK GOODNESS .GREAT BREAKFAST TOO.ON TO MY NEXT ADVENTURE WE HAD A LOVELY FAMILY REUNION AT THE NORTH BEND STATE PARK.WENT TO MY FIRST EVER ANTIQUE STORE.BOY THEY ARE EXPENSIVE.I JUST WANTED TO GET ONE CROCK,NOPE MAYBE I WILL HAVE LUCK AT A YARD SALE. GRANDPA THAT WE GO TO TAKE CARE OF HAD A HUGE 15 GALLON ONE SITTIN RIGHT ON THE PORCH OF HIS TRAILOR.IMAGINE THAT CAUSE I ASKED HIM WHAT THEY USED THEM FOR BACK IN THE DAY AND HE SAYS I GOT ONE RIGHT OVER THERE.SAID HE USED TO MAKE HIS OWN BREW,HAHA .HUBBY WENT FISHIN WITH HIS UNCLE AND TOOK TWO OF THE GIRLS THEY HAD A BLAST.WHAT LITTLE HILLBILLIES THEY R .I LOVE IT THEY EVEN WERE RUNNING THROUGH THE SPRINKLERS DADDY SAID.SEEN SOME GUYS WRESTLIN IN THE FRONT OF A GAS STATION ,HOW FUNNY THAT WAS.WE EVEN WENT TO A OLD CEMETARY OF THE FAMILIES,WAY UP ON A HILL.HEARD SOMETHING RATTLIN AND BOY DID I FLY IN THAT CAR.DAUGHTER SAID I ALMOST FLIPPED IT.TOO MUCH HEAT FOR MY SWEETIE THOUGH WHEN HE GOT BACK WE WENT FOR SUPPER AND HE GOT SICK AND WAS SHAKING ALL OVER.WE WENT TO A HOSPITAL IN PARKERSBURG AND THAT WAS THE END OF OUR LITTLE MINI VACATION(I TELL THE KIDS THE BIG VACATION ,HAWAII,IS GONNA BE IN THERE MOUTHS WE JUST PAID IN FULL FOR TWO OF THERE BRACES)LOL.TEETH FIRST FUN LATER.SO ANYWAYS POOR DADDY HAD HEAT EXAUSTION,BOUT THREE HOURS ON IV,S AND WAS GOOD TO GO.HOME WE HEADED.IT HAS TAKEN HIM A COUPLE OF DAYS TO RECOUP BUT HIS FISHING AGAIN AND TOMMOROW IS MY LITTLE ONES B-DAY PARTY.GONNA FINISH PUTTING SOME EYES AND FANGS ON THE BATS I DID MAKE THEN I WILL POST.HAVE A GREAT WEEK GIRLS BLESSINGS

TODAY I MADE THESE LITTLE CUTIES TO GO IN MY BATHROOM.I HAVE A SHOWER CURTAIN THAT WILL MATCH THEM PERFECTLY,WHEN I SEEN THE FABRIC I KNEW I MUST HAVE IT!I DONT KNOW WHY BUT I HAVE SUCH A WEIRD FETISH ABOUT SHOWER CURTAINS AND PLACEMATS AND RUNNERS.CANT GET ENOUGH.LOL.I HONESTLY THOUGHT THAT I WAS GONNA KEEP THE RED AND BLUE THEME GOING IN THE BATHROOM BUT I JUST GET TO BORED WITH STUFF AND NEED A CHANGE,ANYONEONE ELSE EVER FEEL THAT WAY?I USED TO DECOREATE MY DOWNSTAIRS BATHROOM IN HOLIDAY THEMES BUT STOPPED DOING THAT RECENTLY TOO.NOW ITS JUST SOME PRIM GOODIES.I LIKE THAT ONE,FOR NOW.I THINK IM GONNA TRY TO MAKE SOME BATS AND PUMPKINS LATER THIS WEEK.FIRST THINGS FIRST GOTTA CLEAN THE LITTLE ONES BEDROOM TOMMOROW CAUSE HER UNCLES BRINGING HER A TRUNDLE BED !YIPPEE!MAYBE SHE WILL START TO SLEEP IN THERE.HAVE A GREAT WEEK LADIES BLESSINGS TO ALL

MY FIRST RAG QUILT

boy this was a fun thing to do.I sat sat. and cut out all the squares .yesterday i laid it all out on the floor and that where it reamined all day as i took row by row up to the kitchen to sew together.i did attempt years ago to make a quilt but wasnt very good at it then the babies started to come.so needless to say never seemed to get back to that project.these rag quilts i see looked alot easier and if i boogered it up,well no one could tell.I wanted one just to go on the back of couch.I think tommorow i will make some matching pillows to go with it.I definetly love it way more the the afahgans I have made.I did have a couple of set backs though.when i washed it the poor stars all got yucked up,so i had to restitch them .hope everyone has a great week now i have to concentrate on what on earth i could do to prim up a roll of tp.gotta love that donna!blessings to all oh yeah and my middle daughter jasmine has gotta on this new kick to take photos of some of our flowers so im gonna put them on my sidebar.they are pretty good.

Wanted to let everyone about my fathers day.my youngest two daughters made daddy a b ody pillow fleece cover with the cleveland browns on it.It was supposed to be a blanket but the more she cut her strips to tie together the smaller her blanket got lol.so i said lets put a body pillow in it,she was so excited.worked out pretty good.lesson learned next time we better get at least 3 yards instead of one. my oldest had plans of her own she went to the mall with her boyfriend and bought daddy a tshirt from his fav.store aeropostale.this all happened yesterday,needless to say the girls are impatient like me and sprung there goodies on daddy the second in came in from yard work.Today was pretty busy too,we did make it to church and the girls had been practicing for a little fathers day skit.it was cute.I think i cried atleast three times ,and it wasnt even my day,it was daddys day lol.I do feel so blessed to have met my husband at 17 and still with him at 35. he is still the love of my life and im so fortunate to have our children with such a wonderful man.hes the loudest cheer dad at competitions,always willing to take the girls fishin(they love to fish)and always there with advice .he has strong morals which he has instilled in our girls and im so thankful for him ,because i think i got some pretty good kids that will make wonderful moms and great human beings..hope everyone else is having a great day .blessings michelle

today i took the girls and we went to two yard sales,a couple of streets over,and lookie what i found!the first one i found this old washboard for just two bucks!i been wanting one of these.i was so excited.i really didnt think i would find anything but they were so close to my house so i thought what the hay,why not.then we went to the next one and found this old bench for five dollars!couldnt believe my luck.and to make things even better my litlle blog star you see here payed with her report card money(mom didnt have enough and it just tickled her pink to get these treasures for mommy)she of course loved posing for the pic too,till she remembered the spider webs underneath lol.hope everyones having a great weekend blessings to all of you.

Well i finished it today and im so pleased with the result.I luv it,now all i got to do is make a table runner out of this cute rooster fabric(little hesitant about that one,dont want to booger it up lol)then i made this gameboard today.i luv crows and Patti from rasberry lane treasures sent me (thanks again patti)this awesome crow cookie cutter and i used it as a stencil lol.hey it works and im all about using whatever materials i got around to get the job done.hope u all like it.my nephew has been staying with us and he is in such shock that his aunt 'chelle made it.haha i said im a crafty aunt lol.hope everyones having a great night now i can go watch some boob tube and relax.blessings michelle

just had to have my star of my blog model my giveaway goodies from Tiff at Folded Gingham.The cutest apron and its a first for me to have one believe it or not.lol shes wearing the apron and also holdin a cute fabric that it was wrapped in as well!so im not even gonna wear it too special.thank you again Tiff.Its wonderful!she also sent a card design kit that i must tell u my little booger bribed me that she would model for me, if i let her make the cards lol.shes lovin to do crafts too!today two of my girls wanted to build there own piggy banks out of wood.crafty little critters in the makin:)hope everyone has a great weekend and god bless

wanted to hop on and put some pics of what ive been up to,not much craftin but lots of other stuff.now i have bronchitus so not doin much of anything but coughin lol.we worked on the backyard alot putting up a picket fence to go across ,so we could divide the yard from the dogs.so i can have my space and they have theres(they ruin my space and pee on everything uugg)my husband also built this arbor in front of the gate(i still have to paint the top) i also started another flower bed in the corner as well.still need to mulch as well.we had a cookout on memorial day and celebrated hubbys birthday which was the first.he was so suprised.my mother in law managed to sneak in a ice cream cake without him even noticing and the kids managed to "hold water"which is a rare occasion.lol. and last but not least want ed to post some pics of the flower beds in front of the house.we got some rose bushes from my mother in law last year and they are just breathtaking.got lots of seeds plant to for some more flower beds in the back.i sure hope they turn out ok im horrible at seeds im a perrenial girl all the way,i think tonight im gonna cross stitch something and watch some movies.hope everyone has a great night.blessings almost forgot my youngest in a box,dont ask shes just goofy and decided to make this fan box a fort cute huh. my middle daughter just recently took a trip to washington and took this photo.she felt a sense of pride and sadness for the soldiers.im so proud of her cause at such a young age she grasped the concept of compassion for one another and defending what you believe in.she truely amazes me.as a nervous mother i was scared to send her but she came back with a whole new sense of pride and what it means to be an american.have a great holiday and remeber all those we have lost. god bless all of you and have a safe and happy weekend

i got some inspiration to try to make some pears ive been seeing alot of gals making,so i gave it a whirl.i popped out my mothers old sewing machine and gave it my all.i think they look pretty cute and the hubby was in total shock that i made them so thats a good sign,i think loll what do you think?i think i will try some with different kinds of fabric next time,maybe some christmas colors that i won from barefoot primitives,wouldnt those be so cute as a display for christmas.I'm quite sure its probally been done but what the hay im new to this lol.

i have had a fun and busy week,but never too busy to get on my blog hehe ive got lots of pics tp put on since i have my camera back from my daughter who had it in wash d.c. these are stuff that i have done a group of bowls i got at some yard sales painted some if them and made into a light display,thought it looked pretty cute.the shelf was my daughters and she didnt want it anymore so i snagged it right up and painted it,then got some other things painted to add to display on it.got the cute little flag frames and stitch the sayings to go in them.spray painted the basket(which was some funky ugly colors i thought and made these stars to go in it.new to sewing but quite pround of myself,liottle stars today prom dresses tommorow lol just kidding.not that talented .went to my first estat sale yesterday and got thia old cedar chest .been wanting one for at the bed and it was only 20.00 but it has been covered with this striped fabric.i do like it but its sticking out like a sore thumb.told hubby i might just take it off,he said no way so its stayin on.i got this little stool for a buck and painted it blue (fav color as you can see)had stars that rub on so put them on it also painted these boxes that were plain and put stars on also,i think they look in the bathroom.i also stitched this free pattern i got and displayed it on this ledge.i did try my hand at painting some electric candle lights but that was a big old mess.gonna figure some more stuff to do this week,i luv keeping busy.have a great week everyone!god bless michelle
